The Jacksonville Marine Association and 121 Financial Credit Union has awarded three college tuition scholarships. The Awards Ceremony was held at Nipper’s Beach Grill, Jacksonville Beach. Recipients of the tuition scholarships are Caitlyn Baker, Savannah Garland and Abigail Wolz. Presenting the scholarship awards was Rusty Gardner, Vicde President of the Jacksonville Marine Association and Dick Boger, Immediate Past President and Scholarship Committee chairman. Joining them for the scholarship partnership and presentation was be William Braddock, President and CEO of 121 Financial Credit Union and Davis Johnston, Sr. Vice President Operations. Each scholarship was presented in the names of Grace Rogers, Pete Loftin and John Lowe, long– time Officers and Directors of the Jacksonville Marine Association, to honor their service and dedication. Commenting of the scholarship awards, Dick Boger said, “ We are very pleased to award these tuition scholarships to these outstanding young ladies. Each has demonstrated excellent scholarship, leadership skills and a focused career- path education”.
