The purpose of the Jacksonville Marine Association is to promote social activities and education between its members. To exchange ideas on promotion and sales of their products and services. To foster and promote boating on the St. John's River and its tributaries. To aid and assist in the proposal and adoption of suitable laws and regulations relating to boats and boating. To aid, assist or conduct displays of boats, equipment and allied products and services

2013 121FCU/JMA Scholarship

iStock 000004136349Small The Jacksonville Marine Association and 121 Financial Credit Union has announced that a third $2,500.00 college scholarship has been added for the fall semester of 2013. In addition to the John Lowe and Pete Loftin awards, the Grace Rogers Scholarship has been added. Grace Rogers was a long time association member dating back to 1964. The scholarship is open to any high school senior or college freshman that is in financial need for tuition or expenses. Qualified applicants are invited to submit an application online. Three deserving students will be awarded $2,500.00 each. The check will be presented at an awards ceremony in June 2013. All funds will be given to the institution of the student’s choosing.
